Since posting Sara’s work online, I’ve gotten some wonderful feedback. “Strong,” according to a gallery owner in Stockbridge; “Beautiful,” said the head of a public library system interested in holding an exhibit. “I believe in this work,” in the words of an art historian. A gallery owner in Concord, Massachusetts said, “These are good paintings.” So far, several visitors have asked to buy certain paintings–and, of course, there are the institutions that want to acquire some. The least positive evaluation came from a Chicago collector and filmmaker who thought the work might be of interest only to university museums–which would be totally fine, by me!
